The Red Rock Canyon, Sloan Canyon and Nellis Dunes national recreation areas will be free for visitors on the first day of summer, June 21, thanks to the Bureau of Land Management, in conjunction with other agencies within the Department of the Interior.

Red Rock is beautiful.  Not as big as other national parks but those bright red flaming rocks are very pretty.  Thanks for sharing those great photos.  Makes me miss Vegas...just even a slightly bit.

Thanks Jennifer!  There are quite a few trails that can lead into the back country of Red Rock, once on foot the park seems huge compared to just the drive thru.
